Building & Industrial Equipment manufactures a manually operated hydraulic intaglio press in collaboration with Mr. Collin Cole, who as an active master-printmaker, provided us with specifications to achieve an excellent quality print.
The pressure applied to the top roller remains constant over its entire length/width whilst the bed is moved independently from the rollers, thus the rollers are idling – so to speak – with a preset constant pressure.
The SWIFT PRESS is currently operating in 7 Artist’s studios
The bed-size of the press is 1,5m x 0,9m with a 0,9m roller width (standard); on special request : 1,0m x 0,7m or 1,4m x 2,4m
